Johannes Martinus was born on February 12th, 1792 in Zwolle and his baptism took place there on February 12th, 1792.  Johannes Martinus' father was Jan Wessel(s) Volkering and his mother was Euphemia Maria Jöring (Joring(s)).  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 55 on February 9th, 1848 in Zwolle.1
