Franciscus was born on February 23rd, 1686 in Amersfoort.1   Franciscus' father was Jacobus Veenendaal and his mother was Anna Margrieta Nieuwenburg. He had four brothers and a sister, named Johannes, Johannes, Berend, Thomas and Marijke.  He was the second oldest of the six children.
