Jakoba was born on November 4th, 1830 in Maassluis.  Jakoba's father was Jan Wz van Rijn and her mother was Catharina van Sina.  Her maternal grandparents were Derk van Cina and Johanna Visjer.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 64 on August 25th, 1895 in Schiedam.1
