Roelof was born in 1697 and his baptism took place on September 26th, 1697 in Aalten.1  Roelof's father was Henricus Prins and his mother was Geesken Beechink.  His paternal grandparents were Jan Prins and Geertje Grevink.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 68 on May 25th, 1765 in Aalten.1
