Dirk Meijboom

Dirk was born in 1711 in Dordrecht and his baptism took place there on November 7th, 1711.¹   Dirk's father was Hendrik Stoffelszoon Meijboom and his mother was Maijke/Maaike de Vries of Pieters.  His paternal grandparents were (Chri)Stoffel Wolfertsz Meijboom and Engeltje Hendriks; his maternal grandparents were Pieter Gillisse de Vries and Hilligje Coole. He had two brothers named (Chri)Stoffel Hendriksz and Pieter.  He was the youngest of the three children.
