Mary was born in 1786.  Mary's father is William Lindow and her mother is Rebecca Martin.  Her paternal grandparents are William Lindow and Ann Postlethwaite; her maternal grandparents are John Martin and <Unknown>.  She has a brother and three sisters, named William, Ann, Rebecca and Jane.  She is the second oldest of the five children.
