Marion was born in 1882.  Marion's father was Josiah Buckler and her mother was Mary Allender.  Her paternal grandparents are Robert Buckler and Maria White. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Samuel, Benjamin, Joseph, Josiah, James, William, Mary, Ada, Alice and Gretta.  She is the third oldest of the eleven children.
