Geoffrey's father was Sir Richard Pole and his mother was Countess Margaret (Countess of Salisbury) Plantagenet. His paternal grandparents were Geoffrey Pole and Edith; his maternal grandparents were George (Duke of Clarence, Lord of Richmond) Plantagenet and Isabel Neville. He had three brothers and a sister, named Lord Montague, Arthur, Reginald and Ursula. He died on August 29th, 1538 in Tower of London.1 General Notes
