Dan Giddings 
Dan was born on August 4th, 1749 in Lyme, New London County, Connecticut.1 Dan's father was Thomas Giddings Jr and his mother was Mary Coult. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Giddings and Sarah Andrews. He had three brothers and seven sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named David, Thomas, Silas, Miriam, Jabez, Mary, Miriam, Polly, Lydia, Temperence and Festus. He was the second oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 68 on August 3rd, 1818 in West Rutland, VT.1 General Notes
