Rayeefa 's father is Mohamed Uvais and her mother is Salma Rifca.  Her paternal grandfather was Ahmed Yaseen and her paternal grandmother is Saara Ummah; her maternal grandfather was Abdul Azeez Hajiyar and her maternal grandmother is Muthu Beevi. She has a brother and a sister, named Mohammed Yaseen Razvi and Sara Risafa.  She is the youngest of the three children.
