Abdul's father was S.A.S.Syed mohammed Sahib  "Cinna Kaaliyar" and his mother was <Unknown>.  His paternal grandparents were Ahmed Thambi and Syed Raabiyath Ummah. He had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Jamaal, Ahmed, Jahufar Hameed and Rahmath.

Abdul and Taajun nisha Beevi are married.  They have two sons and two daughters, named Ahmed Jalal-u-deen, Syed Abdul Cader, Mahroofa and Zeenath.
