His maternal grandparents were William Henry Rankin and Amy Ursla Kimpton. He had a brother and two sisters, named Donald Lavern, Margaret E. and <Unknown>. He died at the age of 87 on April 18th, 2006 in Ann Arbor, Washtenaw, Michigan, Unied States. He was buried on April 21st, 2006 in Marble Park Cemtery.2 2 Death Notes
