Mary was born on November 17th, 1856 in Michigan.1   Mary's father was John Watterman Kimpton and her mother was Amy Ann Acoby. She had a brother and three sisters, named Stephen, Amy Ursla, Anna and Sarah. She had a half-sister named Cynthia Jane.  She died at the age of 60 on June 2nd, 1917 in Dundee, Monroe, Michigan, United States.  She was buried in Churches Corners Cemetery, Wheatland, Hillsdale, Michigan, United States.
