William Ballard

St Philip's Cathedral, Birmingham

William was born in 1798 and his baptism took place on April 9th, 1798 in St. Phillip's Church, Warwickshire.  William's father was William Ballard and his mother was Sarah Tippin.  His maternal grandparents were John Tippin and Jane Harrison. He had two sisters named Sarah and Sarah.  He was the youngest of the three children.

  Pat Horton of England writes that:
  William Ballard was baptised on 9 April 1798 at St. Phillip's Church, Warwickshire.  William worked as a brass founder and as a gun lock filer.
  He married Mary Ann Mellin on 10 November 1823 at Aston Juxta, Birmingham.
