Reuben was born in 1778 in North Thoresby, Lincoln, England and his christening took place there on September 5th, 1778.  Reuben's father was John Wrack and his mother was Mary Ellerby.  His paternal grandparents were John Rack and Sarah Ling.  He was an only child.
