Mr Wolstan Alexander Dixie

Wolstan was born in 1818 in Kidwelly, Dyfed, Wales. Wolstan's father was Lt Richard Thomas Dixie and his mother was Mrs Harriet Wilson. His paternal grandparents were Rev Beaumont Joseph Dixie and Mrs Margaret Shewin. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Beaumont, Richard, Henry, Harriet and Eleanor. He was the third oldest of the six children.
