Sir William Comyn

William was born in 1163 in Altyre, Moray, Scotland. William's father was Sir Richard Comyn and his mother was Lady Hextilda of Tynedale. His maternal grandparents were Sir Uchtred of Tynedale and Princess Bethoc Ingen Domnaill Bain. He was an only child. He died at the age of 70 in 1233 in Buchan, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
