David was born in 1872.1   David's father was Thomas Kerr and his mother was Sarah Hynds.  His paternal grandparents were David Kerr and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Hynds and Sarah ?. He had two sisters named Sarah and Mary.  He was the oldest of the three children.  He died at the age of 59 on November 1st, 1931 in 44 Shore Road Belfast.2
