Thomas Arthur Kain

Thomas was born on January 6th, 1898.  Thomas' father was John Kain and his mother was Harriett Mann.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas Kain and Rachael Odgers. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Jack, Pat, Dorothy, Lulu and Harriet.  He was the oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 19 in 1917 in Lost at Sea WWI.

  • Last Entry in famly red letter day book notes Dear Tom left home April 27 no year. "Dear Tom left Sydney today 18.06.191? on the Aurora as a radio operator and has never been heard of since." February 3rd Ngatapa Rifle Club cup he won 1915 and 1916 was given to family.
