John was born in 1823.  John's father was Thomas Blyth and his mother is Abigail Worrin.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas Blythe and Mary Seyer; his maternal grandparents are John Worrin and <Unknown>. He had two brothers and two sisters, named William, Thomas, Abigail and Harriet.  He died at the age of 54 in 1877.
