May's father is Joseph Turner and her mother was Lillie  Amelia Sorensen.  Her maternal grandfather was William Sorensen and her maternal grandmother is HENRIETTA Kirwin. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, James, Clem, Roy, Rupert, Milbra and Ethel.
