Lydia was born in 1894 in Porthleven.  Lydia's father is Robert Pascoe and her mother is Lydia Nicholls Eddy.  Her paternal grandparents are Robert Pascoe and Elizabeth Pascoe; her maternal grandparents are James Eddy and Jane Nicholls. She had two brothers and two sisters, named John, Thomas, Janie and Elizabeth.  She was the second oldest of the five children.  She died at the age of 87 in January 1981.
