Edith Ellen May Burgess

Edith was born in 1910 in Sarisbury. Edith's father is Arthur James Burgess and her mother was Harriett (Betty) Blanche Smith. Her paternal grandparents were James Henry Burgess and Elizabeth Caroline Thompson; her maternal grandparents were Walter James Smith and Ellen Elizabeth Lanham. She had four brothers named Cyril, Christopher, Lesley and Lionel. She is the oldest of the five children.
