Margaret was born on September 29th, 1240 in Windsor Castle,Berkshire,England.  Margaret's father was Henry_III and her mother was Eleanor of_Provence.  Her paternal grandparents were John Lackland and Isabella of_Angouleme; her maternal grandfather was Raymond of_Provence.  She was the second of nine children.  She had six brothers and two sisters, named Edward_I (Longshanks), Edmund Crouchback of_Leicester, Richard, John, William, Henry, Beatrice and Katherine.  She died at the age of 34 on February 26th, 1275 in Cupar Castle,Fife.
