Katherine was born on November 25th, 1253 in Westminster.  Katherine's father was Henry_III and her mother was Eleanor of_Provence.  Her paternal grandparents were John Lackland and Isabella of_Angouleme; her maternal grandfather was Raymond of_Provence.  She was the seventh of nine children.  She had six brothers and two sisters, named Edward_I (Longshanks), Edmund Crouchback of_Leicester, Richard, John, William, Henry, Margaret and Beatrice.  She died at the age of 3 on May 3rd, 1257 in Windsor Castle,Berkshire,England.
