John was born on June 20th, 1389.  John's father was Henry_IV and his mother was Mary De_Bohun.  His paternal grandparents were John of_Gaunt and Blanche of_Lancaster; his maternal grandfather was Humphrey De_Bohun.  He was the fourth of seven children.  He had four brothers and two sisters, named Son, Henry_V, Thomas, Humphrey of_Gloucester, Blanche and Philippa.  He died at the age of 46 on September 15th, 1435 in Rouen.
