Frederick_VII was born on October 6th, 1808 in Amalienborg.  Frederick_VII's father was Christian_VIII and his mother was Charlotte.  His paternal grandparents were Frederick and Sophia Frederica of_Mecklenburg-.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 55 on November 15th, 1863 in Glucksburg.
