Edward_IV was born on April 28th, 1442 in Rouen,France.  Edward_IV's father was Richard Plantagenet and his mother was Cicely Nevill.  His paternal grandparents were Richard of_Cambridge Plantagenet and Anne Mortimer; his maternal grandparents were Ralph of_Westmoreland 1st and Joan Beaufort.  He was the oldest of eight children.  He had three brothers and four sisters, named Richard_III, Edmund, George, Anne, Elizabeth, Margaret and Ursula.  He died at the age of 40 on April 9th, 1483 in Westminster,Palace,London,England.  His burial was in St. George Chap.,Windsor,England.
