Christian_V was born on April 15th, 1646 in Flensborg.  Christian_V's father was Frederick_III and his mother was Sophia Amelia.  His paternal grandparents were Christian_IV and Anne Catherine.  He was the oldest of five children.  He had a brother and three sisters, named George of_Denmark, Anne Sophia, Frederica and Ulrica.  He died at the age of 53 on August 25th, 1699.
