Christian_III was born on August 12th, 1503 in Gottorp.  Christian_III's father was Frederick_I and his mother was Anna.  His paternal grandparents were Christian_I and Dorothea.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 55 on January 1st, 1559 in Coldingen.
