Frederick_I was born on October 7th, 1471.  Frederick_I's father was Christian_I and his mother was Dorothea.  His maternal grandfather was John of_Brandenburg.  He was the youngest of three children.  He had a brother and a sister, named John and Margaret of_Denmark.  He died at the age of 61 on April 10th, 1533 in Gottorp.
