Ines was born in 1901.  Ines' father was Güerino Grassi Chiovanelli and her mother was Carolina Riggo Lavaroni.  Her paternal grandparents were Pedro Grassi and Catalina Chiovanelli; her maternal grandparents were Blas Riggo and Maria Lavaroni. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Carlos, Pedro, Maria, Dominga, Rossa, Oscarina and Florinda.  She died at the age of 72 in 1973.
