Joseph Wilson

Joseph was born on May 7th, 1864 in Wombwell, Yorkshire, England.¹ Joseph's father was William Wilson and his mother was Caroline Massey. He had three brothers and three sisters, named James, William, Jack, Sarah, Violet and Caroline. He died due to murder / assassination, Died of Injuries from beating, at the age of 40 in 1904 in Hawk Run, PA. The funeral took place in 1904. His burial was in Hawk Run, PA.¹

Death Notes
- Died from injuries received from a beating after leaving a bar in Hawk Run to walk home. He had helped break up a brawl in a bar and was set upon by several men who kicked and pummelled him severely

General Notes
- Joseph and Ann (Sanderson) emigrated to America in 1887, arriving in Philadelphia on August 23. Imigrating with them were their three oldest children, Ann's parents, and William Wilson, Joseph's brother. William Wilson Spent most of his life in Dupois, PA.
