Edward was born in 1917.  Edward's father was Leonard Martin and his mother was Olive Gwendolyn Davies.  His maternal grandparents were Edward Davies and Rhoda Catherine  Sexton. He had a sister, and also a sibling of unknown gender named Margaret and Martin.  He was the second oldest of the three children.  He died at the age of 26 in 1943.
