Gladys was born in 1895.  Gladys' father was William Henry Haynes and her mother was Georgina Willcocks Gibson.  Her paternal grandparents were John Langdon Haynes and Elizabeth Guest; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Gibson and Mary Elizabeth Woolcock.  She was an only child.
