Maja was born on November 18th, 1881 in Munich, Germany.  Maja's father was Hermann Einstein and her mother was Pauline Koch (Einstein).  Her paternal grandparents were Abraham Einstein and Helene Moos (Einstein).  She had a brother named Albert.  She was the younger of the two children.  She died at the age of 70 in 1951 in Princeton, New Jersey.
