Edith was born on August 24th, 1896 in Bucks County PA.1   Edith's father was Hiram C Lake and her mother was Rachael (Lake).  Her paternal grandparents were Charles Lake and Amelia (Lake). She had a brother and a sister, named Ezra and Laura.  She was the oldest of the three children.  She died due to a medical problem.
