Leah was born on June 11th, 1810.  Leah's father was Christian Groff and her mother was Mary Brown (Groff).  Her paternal grandparents were John Groff and Erb; her maternal grandparents were Peter Brown and Susanna (Brown). She had two brothers named George and Levi.  She died at the age of 65 on March 14th, 1876.  She was buried in Groffdale Mennonite Church Cemetary.
