Julio was born on 16-Aug-1899.  Julio's father was João Firmino Freitas Morna and his mother was Maria de Jesus.  His paternal grandparents were Julio de  Freitas Morna and Maria Carolina Gomes; his maternal grandparents were  Guilherme Gomes and  Maria de Jesus.  He was the oldest of four children.  He had a brother and two sisters, named Gonçalo, Isilda and Maria.
