Joseph Tembey

Joseph was born in 1859 in Cleator, Cumberland, England and his baptism took place there on June 24th, 1860. Joseph's father was Samuel Tembey and his mother was Sarah Thomas. His paternal grandparents were John Tembey and Isabella Bennetts; his maternal grandparents are John Thomas and Elizabeth. He had three brothers and four sisters, named John Henry, Christopher, Samuel, Elizabeth Jane, Eliza Thomas, Sarah Ann and Emily.
