John Tembey

John was born in March 1848 in Ulverston, Lancashire. John's father was Christopher Tembey and his mother was Mary Ann Moyle. His paternal grandparents were John Tembey and Isabella Bennetts; his maternal grandparents are William Moyle and Margaret. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Christopher, William Henry, Samuel, Elizabeth Ann, Mary Jane, Hannah and Isabella. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 68 on January 16th, 1917 in Cleator Moor, Cumberland.
