William Lionel Partridge

William Lionel was born in September 1894 in Ross, Herefordshire. William Lionel's father was Edwin Partridge and his mother was Emily Maria Hodges. His paternal grandparents were John Partridge and Emily Williams; his maternal grandparents are Charles Hodges and Ruth. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Edwin Charles, Harold, Percy, Wallace Arthur, Ellen Ruth and Annie Millicent. He is the fifth oldest of the seven children.
