David Stanley Merrett

David Stanley was born in March 1893 in Christchurch, Monmouthshire. David Stanley's father was George Merrett and his mother was Mary Maria Partridge. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Merrett and Elizabeth Jones; his maternal grandparents were William Partridge and Sarah Williams. He has three brothers and two sisters, named Sidney William, George Partridge, Ernest Nelson, Lilian Mary and Sarah Eleanor. He is the fifth oldest of the six children.
