George Johnson

George was born about 1894 in Tonypandy, Rhondda, Wales. George's father is Mark Johnson and his mother is Sarah Ann Purnell. His maternal grandparents were Noah Purnell and Sarah Kitson. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Robert, William, Jonathan, Mark, Sarah Florence, Emily and Sarah Ann. He is the fifth oldest of the eight children.
