Male John Diment

John was born about 1846 in Southleigh, Devon and his baptism took place on May 18th, 1845 in Independent Chapel, Colyton, Devon.  John's father was James Diment and his mother was Elizabeth Skinner.  His paternal grandparents are William Diment and Ann Mitchel; his maternal grandparents were William Skinner and Jemima Hoare.  He had six brothers and four sisters, named Samuel, William, Henry, George, Mark Joseph, James, Elizabeth Ann, Jemima, Jane and Emma.  He is the fifth oldest of the eleven children.
