John Cooper

John was born in June 1897 in Hensingham, Cumberland. John's father was Samuel Cooper and his mother is Sarah Elizabeth Jay. His paternal grandparents were Robert Cooper and Isabella Bingham. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Robert, Sydney, Annie Juliet, Ethel and Gladys. He was the fifth oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 57 in 1954 in Rawmarsh, West Riding of Yorkshire..
