Joseph Chivers

Joseph was born in 1771 in High Littleton, Somerset. Joseph's father was Robert Chivers and his mother was Sarah Brooks. His paternal grandparents were John Chivers and Elizabeth Carter. He had two brothers and four sisters, named John, Sampson, Ann, Christian, Betty and Sarah. He is the oldest of the seven children.
