Roger was born on February 15th, 1948.  Roger's father is Robert Lee Beardin and his mother is Irma Bona (Beardin).  His paternal grandparents were Frank Acel Beardin and Mary Alice Williamson (Beardin). He had a brother and two sisters, named Frank, Mary and Nancy.  He is the youngest of the four children.
