Bastiaan Rozier William van Blerk

Bastiaan was born on October 1st, 1863. Bastiaan's father was Bastiaan Pieter Everhadus van Blerk and his mother is Anna Catharina Phillippina Soekoe. His paternal grandparents were Rogier Bernhadus van Blerk and Martha Basina Dorothea. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Rogier, Johannes, Bastiaan, Charles, Maria and Bastina. He was the youngest of the seven children. Bastiaan is no longer alive.

General Notes
- Christened 9 August 1865 in Colesberg.
  Also suspected and assumed to be the same Sebastian WIlliam van Blerk, born 1863, who sailed to Southampton on the Llandaff Castle Ship in 1936 with his family. Concrete evidence remains to be found to confirm this, however, all other info tends to show the connection.
