Sonja was born on January 23rd, 1952. Sonja's father was Jan Joubert van Blerk and her mother was Johanna Dedrika Jacoba Heydendrich (van Blerk). Her paternal grandparents were Petrus Gerhardus Louw van Blerck and Sara Magretha Joubert (van Blerk). She has a brother and two sisters, named Butch, Hester and Johanna Dedrika. She is the second oldest of the four children.General Notes
